Our mission

Letting every student step inside what they learn.

And putting it within reach of every school in the world. ExploreBox VR creates educational virtual reality games in which the whole group moves, talks and solves challenges together, inside the same world.

Three principles

How we turn virtual reality into a classroom tool

Pedagogy

Learning by doing, as a team

Every mission starts from a curriculum goal. Challenges can only be solved if the group coordinates and talks.

Technology

True free-roam, no cables

Standalone headsets, local multiplayer and play areas from 6 × 6 to 10 × 10 meters.

Operations

Built inside a VR center

We were born inside a center in Granollers with 16 PICO headsets in daily use. We design for everyday operation, not just for a demo.

Why free-roam

In most virtual reality experiences, each person plays alone and stands still. In our games, students really walk around a room of up to 10 × 10 meters and share the same world with their group. That changes how they learn: they have to talk, split tasks and agree.

Why from a VR center

We were born inside a center in Granollers where headsets are used every day. That is why we design for the real session: short setup times, a launcher anyone can use and games that work offline.
